The Cermesoni Group business group, located in Italy, has been working in the logistics sector since 1928.

In 2014, the company expanded its presence in the market by founding the Cermesoni Mexico branch. By making a sales force available throughout the world, Cermesoni is able to manage all logistics phases. The Group’s mission is to provide its customers with a service based on integrity, teamwork and excellence of results achieved with passion and dedication. The team in Mexico City and Italy is highly qualified to achieve our business objectives, ensuring 24/24 support to their customers. The group offers logistics and air and maritime goods shipping services globally as well as integrated logistics services. Among air services, it provides direct, consolidated and charter shipments; “door to door” services; consolidation services in import and export at their own warehouses, customs operations with license downloads; supervision and oversight of shipments entrusted to us and comprehensive insurance cover. Among our maritime services, in addition to the services offered by air transport, we handle FCL and LCL containers from / to the main world markets, using spaces reserved solely by the port of the same maritime company.

In recent years the group companies have followed the process for certification of the Quality Management System in accordance with international standard UNI EN ISO 9001: 2008, as an instrument for the continuous improvement of its services from the viewpoint of customer satisfaction and in compliance with the mandatory regulations, laws and regulated areas in which services are performed.

OUR STORY

1928

Cermesoni begins operating in the sector with its first trucks powered by a wood boiler and mainly used for the transportation of ferrous materials, building materials, wine barrels, lumber and coal.
The initial route was from Varese to Milan.

1950

The opening of a collection and distribution centre in Turin, the Piedmontese capital, and the development of other routes, which over the following years progressively allowed the company to cover the entire country.

1980s
The acquisition of Radice, a historic company in the province of Varese working in the domestic transportation industry.

1989
Transfer to the new Operations Centre in Fagnano Olona (Varese) in order to rationalise the activities of companies belonging to the Group.
The availability of storage areas together with the services traditionally provided gave rise to the integrated logistics process as a competitive advantage for our customers.

Early 1990s
Continued evolution in terms of the diversification of services provided.

1998

Creation of the Group’s overseas division through the creation of CERMESONI INTERNATIONAL.
Over the next few years, efforts focussed on the development of a worldwide network of correspondents.

2007
Quality Management System certification in accordance with international standard UNI EN ISO 9001:2000.

2008
Upgrading of the Quality Management System to ISO 9001:2008.

2011
CERMESONI INTERNATIONAL became an IATA agent on 1 June 2011.

2012
On 12 October 2012, CERMESONI INTERNATIONAL obtained the “Full” Authorised Economic Operator certificate.

2014
Establishment of the CERMESONI MEXICO company based in Mexico City.

2016
Opening of the commercial office of Altavilla Vicentina (Italy).
