In the event of large quantities of goods for a single recipient, we work with full loads (even if the maximum permitted volume is not reached); but small quantities of goods can be transported in L.C.L. mode, also collecting loads from other shippers.
This is a fully specialised service: we dedicate an entire vehicle (or even several vehicles, depending on the requirements) to your shipments, that will be chosen depending on the category of the goods or materials that are to be sent and that will arrive at the requested destination within the agreed deadline.
In the L.C.L. mode, a part of the vehicle will be made available: in a single batch, products from different shippers and recipients located in a specific geographical area will be grouped in a reasonable manner to make up a full load that will be transported in a single shipment.
This provides significant advantages in several respects and for all the people involved, the first being the reduction of costs, in economic terms, but also environmental due to the reduction of travel.
For L.C.L. shipments, our logistics capacity has been optimised as much as possible and aims to protect the quality and integrity of goods during shipment to its final destination. Therefore, the L.C.L. service includes an assessment of the volume and the type of products that are to be shipped together, eliminating harmful or legally incompatible groupings.
The basic L.C.L. process is described below:
We have developed a high level of operational coordination and management of processes that, combined with our qualified and continuously updated personnel, and our state-of-the-art information and technology systems, guarantee maximum safety and reliability to our customers.
For all types of transport, full load or L.C.L., every detail of the necessary organisational work is taken care of to ensure that all shipments travel from the place of origin to the place of destination, including the preparation of all administrative and customs formalities required by legislation on the sector.
